Dear City Of Hope
by Bianca

Dear City Of Hope,

On December 31, 2007 I thought hope was just a word; I hope to see you soon. Then I went to the City Of Hope. Hope is not just a word. Hope is an action, a felling, and a life style. When I went and saw what my Dad did every day, not only my Dad but also many people of all ages I saw that every thing in the City Of Hope is there to cure and to bring hope. Each rose in the rose garden, each fish in the Japanese garden, each bunny, each tree, each blade of grass, each doctor, each flower and each heart they all are there to bring hope and cure in their own way. The night before I went to the City of Hope for the first time I thought I was going to a hospital and then I got there. The City Of Hope does not have the energy of a hospital it has energy of love, faith, and of course hope. Each day you cure and you cured my Daddy. How do you thank some one for giving your daddy life? Each day all of City Of Hope does something very special, and should be proud of because it is truly extraordinary. The City Of Hope gives hope and more. Cancer is not a fun thing, I can tell you that but, by adding hope you making it a little bit easier. I just need to thank you all, more than thank and not just because you made my Daddy better but you inspired me. I see what so many people go through and I want to help. I have always wanted to help and you The City Of Hope do it every day. There is no superficial prize but there is a grand prize to know you helped that person and theirs family more than any one could ever. What The City Of Hope does is spectacular, truly. If there was no City Of Hope my Daddy would be dead and because of you, people around us, and the entire hope put together he is still here. Thank you so much. You have changed my life.

Sincerely,

Bianca
